For employees seeking behavioral health services, coverage is just the beginning. The benefit only works if that person reaches an appropriate provider and successfully enters care without getting lost in a maze of disconnected directories and referrals. 

The role and position brokers and advisers play affect that employee experience. They are responsible for creating RFPs, evaluating networks, negotiating pricing and reviewing vendor performance.
