TD Bank became the latest Canadian bank to inform employees on hybrid work arrangements they'll be expected in the office four days a week later this year, according to an internal memo.
Canada's second-largest bank said executive-level employees will be required to work from the office four days a week by Oct. 6 while others will be asked to do the same by Nov. 3. The memo, from Chief Human Resources Officer Melanie Burns, was sent to staff Wednesday.

"Many locations will be ready to accommodate this change by November 3. Others will take us some time," Burns said, adding that employees might receive separate instructions in the coming weeks regarding different timelines.
TD follows rivals Royal Bank of Canada, Bank of Montreal and Bank of Nova Scotia in calling more of its workers back to the office four days per week.
