For many Americans, it’s been a year of layoffs and horrifying grocery bills as the U.S. continues to feel the impact of record inflation. And yet, many states are projected to see job growth in the next decade, hinting at hope for workers.
USAFacts, a nonprofit organization that provides research on the U.S. population, economy and government, ranked which states are projected to see the fastest job growth by 2030. After looking at data from Projections Central, a platform sponsored by the Department of Labor, USAFacts found some surprising states making the list, including Utah, while California didn’t rank.
